How to get there

• ...after having arrived at Mwanza by plane

  If you arrive at the Mwanza Airport you can either take a taxi or a minibus (so called "daladala").

  Tell the taxi driver to bring you to the Montessori Trainig Center in Kawekamo. It should cost about 4000 Shilling.

  If you take the daladala tell the conductor that you want to leave at Nyamanoro. This is the station, where the Kawekamo Road leaves the Aiport Road and you will see a blue sign, that shows you the way to the training center. On the map Nyamanoro station is indicated by number 1.

  From Nyamanoro you have to walk up the hill for about ten minutes.

  If you arrive at the train station of Mwanza you can either take a taxi or walk to the next minibus station. If you arrive at night or in the evening we strongly recommend you to take a taxi and not walk around alone. Tell the taxi driver to bring you to the Montessori Training Center in Kawekamo. It will cost about 10000 Shilling.

  The next minibusstation could be found at the roundabout of the Kenyatta Road, which you can also see on the map.

  Each minibusride costs you 200 Shilling, no matter how long it takes and how many stations you pass. Minibusses are always crowded and well known for their incapable drivers.
